Uptown Gem - Comfort. Cleanliness. Character!

Got a few stays around the world under my belt but this stay felt like I was right at home . From the various amenities to the cultural surroundings I found myself loving the place more. Aside from a small hiccup , our host was responsive and helpful throughout our time there. Definitely would recommend the place for large groups and best to go the long stays as well bang for your buck. Will stay again if I’m ever around the area again 😎👌🏽.

Levone was an extraordinary host! Always made sure my group and I were provided with anything we needed, and was always quick with responses to any and all questions we had. The home was more than beautiful and the furniture was so comfortable. The complimentary snacks that were provided was such a kind gesture. I would stay here again in an instant!

Levone was immediately responsive to my inquiries when I booked this place! So easy to get in touch and very easy instructions on how to go about our stay. The place was very clean and had great new appliances. It was the perfect fit for our big group sleeping-wise (very soft bed sheets and comfy beds!) and we had a wonderful cozy weekend in that home. Very easy to find parking as well for our multiple cars. Would highly reccomend this place to other groups!

This was perfect for my family and the holidays. Lee's location allowed for traveling family coming from Montreal, Maryland, and locally to come together on Christmas Day and meet up to a place that felt like home, so much fun I hope we left it filled with holiday joy!

Everything was clean, crisp and bright. Very easy street parking. Super convenient to Chestnut Hill and Wyndmoor.

Great stay! The host communicated efficiently and replied quickly when we had questions during our stay. There were plenty of extra towels and blankets. The only issue we had, which wasn't with the actual property itself, was a dog on one of the neighbor's back porch that barks all day long. So, if you plan to sleep in, be prepared to hear the neighbors barking dog.

Really loved the place it was perfect for our tea party with my sister, nieces and daughter and cousins. It was a pleasant experience and loved everything about the host and the place. I would definitely stay again.

I rented Lavone's home while in Philadelphia for a football game. Initially, I was unsure about the neighborhood, as I am not from Philly, but soon realized that most of Philadelphia consists of rowhomes, this neighborhood was extremely friendly and quiet. The inside of the home was just as I expected it to be and more. While the pictures are nice, the actual home will surpass your expectations! The home was clean, bright and comfortable. Lavone gave us so many ideas of things to do while there, places to visit and eat, including distance and travel time. There is a quaint little back sitting area that is just adorable; my husband and I loved sitting out there.. just peaceful! Unlike the Eagles football game, which I was embracing like a true fan. This house was great for our large group. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The communication with the host and their instructions was very good. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Levone's place was wonderful and exactly what we needed for a family wedding weekend. My cousins and I each had our own space, the bathrooms were well stocked with all essentials, and the coffee maker was a very welcome amenity throughout our action packed family weekend. We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck during down time, which had very comfortable furniture and an umbrella for shade. We were greeted by a few friendly neighbors when we arrived, but mostly enjoyed peace and quiet. One of us left behind a glasses case and Levone quickly located the missing item and shipped it. If we're ever visiting this area again, we'll absolutely try booking this home.

We were in the area for a wedding and had a difficult time finding lodging for our group. Levone’s property was close to our venue and she was a pleasure to deal with. The property was clean and comfortable and the neighbors we met were kind.

We had six adults in our group. Trying to find a rental in the city with enough space and bathrooms was a challenge. I am glad we found this beautiful home with three full baths. The home was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again when in town to visiting family.

Levone has taken great care in developing and maintaining an immaculate property. What was an ordinary Philadelphia outer area twin house is now very nicely renovated with airbnb in mind. It is an excellent place for a large family or group visiting northwest Philadelphia — Germantown, Mt. Airy or Chestnut Hill — or its nearby suburbs. The kitchen is small, but very well equipped, with a complete coffee bar and up-to-date appliances. Throughout the house you can see evidence of the owner's care, from the living/dining area with everything a parent of a young child would need — high chair, safety stair gate, crib, toys — to bathrooms with automated soap dispensers and good, hot showers. I can't emphasize enough how clean and fresh we found the entire property. This is one of the nicest airbnbs we've stayed at.

I, Pastor Harry Metellus, Leader of Grace Infinie Ministry in Brooklyn New York, Located in 1623 Nostrand Avenue. We went to Philadelphia to celebrate our twelve Ministry's anniversary. We were 12 in the place sharing the same happiness once we entered the house. It was super clean. Levone provided all the necessary basic things, for us, to leave decently in the place. He was available for us at all time without us abusing him. He answered our call quickly, although we didn't have to many. It was greatly appreciated his participation in our Philadelphia tour by suggesting a list of places to visit Levone you are the best, my friend If we have tome back in Philadelphia, for sure, we will check for your place before taking any action. Positive: The property was clean, comfortable with plenty of space. The location worked for us as we were driving and visiting a couple of places on the outskirts of the city. It is not in a location that has bars, restaurants or attractions within walking distance.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. Oh my goodness it was a wonderful experience once again. The next time we are in Philadelphia we will definitely book this house again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Uptown Gem! Positive: The house was very nice! It looks like it was recently renovated and was done very nicely. Beautiful kitchen which was fully and nicely equipped, spacious rooms, dining and living areas. There were 8 adults in the house and we felt very comfortable with plenty of room. It was a bit far for where we spent most of our time, but that was more our fault for not really researching the area. We had two cars so we were able to get ourselves to all the places we wanted to see and needed to be. And the host was very kind and very responsive to any questions we had. Negative: We were very happy with the house and the value we received.

This house fit our group of 7 well. House is updated with great bathrooms. Would have liked a bigger kitchen. Ceiling in the basement is very short if you’re tall. Neighborhood is a bit unkempt. Trash and Glass on the sidewalk made walking our dog challenging.

Everything was great there. It was well-located for the activities we had planned. They took an older row house in a transitioning neighborhood and made the most of it with the updating of the interior, appliances, and electronics to make it very comfortable and usable. We also appreciated the amenities, particularly the coffee machine and complimentary coffee and supplies. We slept well every night. The host was very responsive, proactive, and cordial. It was a wonderful experience for our group of five adults.

Wonderful place for a quick weekend getaway! The place is super clean and beds are large and comfortable. My group mistakened checkout for 11am, and Levone was extremely flexible and friendly and gave my group extra time to check out. Definitely recommend!

I had an incredible time at this Airbnb! The space was not only cozy and beautifully decorated but also immaculately clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ok. Communication was clear and timely. It was a great stay.

A 5-star house in a 2-star area! Make of that what you will. The amenities and comfort of the home itself are top notch. Levone and her team go above and beyond to make your stay feel as comfortable as possible. From small touches like a fully stoked coffee bar with espresso to an extra toothbrush/toothpaste in each bathroom, no small detail was missed. The bedrooms were comfortable but our guest that stayed in the bunk room said there wasn’t a lot of airflow so a fan of some sort would’ve been nice. Otherwise the house was great! As for the area, it’s rough. Broken down abandoned cars on our street, garbage and broken class on sidewalks, run down houses, etc. We came for a wedding nearby and I would’ve chose another area had I known the neighborhood. After a short experience of walking to a nearby corner store to grab beer and getting stared at like aliens and heckled by some locals while purchasing beer through a bulletproof glass wall, that was enough for us. This is definitely a GEM! Housed 9 of us comfortably. The house was up to date and Levone offered several special perks, from the snacks and coffee bar, to the bathrooms including all the comforts of home. The home is beautifully updated and the “craftsmanship and workmanship that went into the design of the the kitchen and baths were incredible “ ( commented by my Mother-in-law , who is a semi-retired interior designer for over 50 years!) Levone, was very responsive to any all questions in a very timely manner. If you are looking for a home away from home , this is it!!

Eight of us travelled to Philadelphia to celebrate a family birthday. We stayed in this lovely home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was beautifully decorated and maintained, spotless, and included many nice amenities. Host was very helpful and accommodating. The home had one parking spot, but we had no difficulty finding street parking for additional cars. It was easy for us to get from this location to many neighboring towns in the Philadelphia area. We would definitely consider returning to this home in the future.

Beautiful house just as described and pictures are accurate. The house was fully stocked with everything you could think of. We did not have any infants but there is everything for them as well. We had two families and 2 vehicles. Parking was not an issue. 1 space in back and lots of room in front. House is in a quiet neighborhood but of course it is in Philadelphia, there is always going to be noise and ruckus. We did have our dog and needed to walk him . We felt safe. The back deck was a nice bonus. In 2 days we made friends with the neighbors. The alley behind the house was pretty quiet and safe. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a regional event and needed a place that could comfortably sleep 10. The house was more than accomidating and updated. The host was very responsvie and accommodating all of our needs. Will definitely book again win in Philly.

The place has been nicely updated. The host has a lot of nice thoughtful touches like a basket of snacks, coffee pods, board games, q-tips, cotton pads etc. Comfy and homey place. Very responsive host that was extremely helpful when we realized my daughter left her blanket behind. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous host, beautiful home and well maintained Positive: The house is beautiful & well maintained. The host is AMAZING!! I think I have very high standards when it comes to service, and the host well exceeds them. This a 5-star hotel property at a minimum. You can tell they care about their guests and the house. Negative: The location is great, but the area can seem a little sketchy. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, and it is safe enough with plenty of stuff nearby.

Exceptional stay, just as described and pictured. Lots of space for my entire family, we used this place as a family gathering vacation, 8 adults and 3 kids. There was a high chair, baby gate and travel cot available which was SO helpful to have, along with kids utensils and baby bath. Washer and dryer was great with Everything was so clean and easy to find, like extra towels and blankets. It was comfortable with the air conditioning. Lots of street parking available, and not far from the major highway to get into things to do around the city. Host was incredibly responsive and left the kindest welcome note and gift. Recommend to all large groups looking for a comfortable stay.

We booked this home well in advance for a place to stay as my sisters wedding was scheduled for 2 days after. The pictures looked beautiful and we were excited. The host was responsive and answered our questions. When my mom made it to the home, she noticed the neighborhood did not look so great, regardless we were to give it a chance. Once we parked our car there was neighbors surrounding the home that started yelling that we had a nice car which made my mom uncomfortable. one even got close to our vehicle to look it over. The pictures did not look and consider the location of the home. We made entry into the home and within 30 minutes decided that we would be leaving. Tried to message the owner and they said they don’t have contact with someone at airbnb. We decided to get a hotel nearby to stay and ended up going with another home. The owner of the home provided no kind of refund or help with our problem. We lost quite a bit of money on this. Terrible service

Overall we had a wonderful stay at this property and would definitely stay there again. Positive: The layout of the house was open and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. Easy access to parking. The property was clean and had plenty of beds and bathrooms. Negative: The lamp in the master bedroom didn’t work. The futons were a little uncomfortable due to the bar in the middle.

The home provided us all the amenities we needed for our visit. It was modern, clean, and updated. There was plenty of street parking. There was ample space for 9 adults and 3 small children. The neighborhood was a little dirty but what can one expect from an urban setting? The H mart with a great restaurant within a 5-minute drive was an unexpected bonus. The owner was amazing. He was extremely pleasant, very reachable, responded quickly, and went over the top to provide the best service. We accidentally left 2 coats at the house when we departed. He went out of his way to send them to us by USPS. I would give him 6 out of 5 stars for a rating if I could. Thank you for a pleasant experience!!! Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Philadelphia area.

Stayed for a work trip with 5 people. Pictures were accurate on the accommodations' inside. House was very clean and well kept. Lower Level extra room with futon, door is a foldable wall but worked for what we needed. Parking was a little confusing from communication with owner but got it worked out. Owner responded quickly to questions and the property worked for us. Do your research on location of residence, but overall a positive stay.

I’ve used air bnb in the past, this house is probably the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at. Host was awesome and very welcoming. The kiddos love the snacks, we love the complimentary wines, and how stocked the bathrooms were! We felt right at home, even my son who has autism did not feel misplaced so that’s a huge plus for us! They had so many games for us to utilize when we got back in from being out. We are already planning to come back.

Inside the house was very clean and really organized. They also provided great body wash and clean towels. The lighting for pictures is good here if it’s a sunny day outside.

My family and I stayed for a night and we loved it, The house looked exactly as the photos, very clean and spacious and they also allowed me to check out a little later!!! So I would definitely stay again!

This was a wonderful Airbnb experience for myself and my group of friends who were visiting the area for the weekend. The space is exactly as described. The home is well furnished and felt cozy. All of the furniture was very comfortable and there were even toiletries in the bathrooms for guests which was a nice touch. Levone was very responsive to my messages and helped make our stay a great one.

My family needed Levone's place during one of the most difficult times of our lives. We stayed at Levone's while in town for my beloved Uncle's funeral. My family was heartbroken, sad, & vulnerable because of our major loss and Levone's home gave us all the love, peace, and comfort we needed as we navigated all of our grief and emotions. They were the most wonderful host ever and I'm so grateful for these accommodations during my family's time of need. Check-in was super smooth. The home was beyond beautiful. It was everything we needed and more. They had everything you could possibly think of having. They covered it all. If you are looking for a place that will accommodate multiple ages, this should be your number 1 pick. I wish I could give it 10,000 stars. When I think of using Airb&b this is exactly what I envisioned and imagined. This was truly a home away from home. It was absolutely a perfect accommodation! This place is beautiful and the host was so responsive and very friendly. So much to do in the house it’s self. Plenty games plenty tv networks to watch. One of my favorite things was they had all types of necessities for babies, towels playpen highchair u name it. It was very comfortable I will be booking again very soon

The house was clean. There were a lot of special items left for us like baby gate, pack-n-play, high chair, snacks, and toiletries. The games were a nice touch as well. The parking space in the back was helpful on nights when we came back late and there was no street parking available. We enjoyed our stay and will book again when we visit family in Philly!

We stayed around Thanksgiving to be close to my mother. The neighborhood doesn’t have a ton to do, but the house is lovely and, if you pick the location for a reason, it’s a very nice place to stay.

This place is worth more than what we spent. It’s reliable and dependable. It had everything. The host thought of everything. We felt right at home. I’m sorry I only got to spend one night due to health reasons that caused me to go into the ER but my children felt right at home. Was able to do everything for my stepdaughter’s birthday. The place is huge and is definitely family oriented. My twins wanted to take the bunk bedroom home. They claimed the room. There is a hidden apartment in the basement. There is more than enough space for everyone if a big family is staying. I think it can fit more than it’s listed for. Had a beautiful patio in the backyard. The neighbors were very friendly and inviting. This place spoke Philly. I felt so comfortable. They thought of everything here. I could definitely stay here again and I hope I get to in the near future. Just beautiful here. Little corner office, huge living room, spacious dining area, fully stocked kitchen for all ages. Amazing!

Levone’s place was great. Comfortable, clean, quiet location. Easy Lyft ride to and from the City Center. Home is beautifully renovated and looks just like the photos. Probably better! I had to book this property extremely last minute and Levone was so kind to ensure we were taken care of and could easily access it in a matter of moments.

This listing is truly a Gem! It was exactly as described and more. The home was exceptionally clean, with beautiful decor, lots of space, extra toiletries in each bathroom, as well as extra linens. The beds were super comfortable and we LOVED how cozy the couch was in the living room. It’s also kid friendly with a great space and some board/card games in the basement. The neighborhood is quiet and we had no issues finding parking spaces. Levine is very thoughtful and kind. She responded in a timely manner any time we had a question. This was Airbnb was perfect for what our family needed. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Our stay at this place was awesome! We used the property for hosting a sleepover for our ten year our daughter and her friends. The property was spacious enough for all of the activities and sleeping space! During the first hour of being in the property the ceiling in the living room started to leak. Levone was responsive and was able to get someone out as soon as they possible. We unfortunately locked ourselves out of the property and Levone was able to come to the rescue and unlock the bottom locks. There were plenty of snacks left out for us which every little girl enjoyed. The street where the house is located is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Definitely would use this house again !
